Al Michaels DUI

Al Michaels is to many the voice of sports.  On Friday Michaels was arrested for suspicion of DUI.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ ... Michaels went through a DUI checkpoint in Santa Monica at approximately 10:00 PM on Friday and when he spoke to officers, they detected an odor of alcohol.

They told he was pulled over and given a field sobriety and after performing poorly, he was placed under arrest. Michaels was released from jail at 4:15 AM on Saturday on his own recognizance.

Halifax Mooseheads Vs Rouyn-Noranda Huskies Game 2

Tonight the Halifax Mooseheads faced their biggest test of maybe the full year. After only losing 6 games in
the regular season and sweeping the first 2 rounds the Mooseheads found themselves down by 2 goals tonight and having no momentum.

The Mooseheads came out strong scoring the first goal early on but then they were plagued by defenceive zone giveaways that had them scrambling the whole game.

The big 3, Frk, Mackinnnon and Drouin seemed to be on the ice the whole game and it showed with Frk slowing down and making bad plays near the end of the 3rd and into Overtime. Frk made up for his sloopy play after the Refs called two penalties on the Huskies in OT and Frk put one in the back of the net.

There are two things I have never seen before, The Halifax Metro as loud and Refs taking over the game where its embarrasing.

The next two games are in Rouyn-Noranda.

Side note: Florida Panthers GM was in the building.

How Much Does Chad Johnson want his women back? Well the ever weird Chad Johnson tattooed Evelyn Lozada’s face on his leg according to TMZ. 

Of course, even though TMZ has sources telling them that the tattoo is real, I don't know if i believe it... Probably because this is the exact kind of thing an attention whore like Chad Johnson would do. If it is real, TMZ says that Lozada still seems set on divorcing Johnson.

US Captain Davis Love III Names Wildcards

US captain Davis Love III names Dustin Johnson, Brandt Snedeker and Steve Stricker and surprise Jim Furyk as his wildcards for Ryder Cup.

Jim Furyk has been a fixture at the Ryder Cup but hasn't been playing that well this year. I only say he's a surprise because of his ranking but you can't rank his experience.
